- Laser Hair Removal (LHR) is a popular cosmetic treatment that safely reduces body hair using advanced laser technology.
- The 40-Hour LHR Apprentice-in-Training Hybrid Certification combines online learning and hands-on training, equipping students with the skills to become certified LHR technicians.
LEVEL 2: Certified Laser Hair Removal Technician
- Students have the opportunity to complete their first 100 treatments at the International Laser Institute training facility. Students will perform 100 treatments on 4 different live models (1-hour treatment per model) under the supervision of a Registered Senior or Registered Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician.
LEVEL 3: Certified Senior Laser Hair Removal Technician
- At this level, it is required that you observe an apprentice perform 100 Treatments.
LEVEL 4: Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician
- This is the final, highest level. At this level, it is required to take a written exam. Once you have completed the exam and reached a passing grade, you will receive a Professional Laser Technician certificate. To obtain your Professional Laser Technician License from the state you must mail a copy of your certificate along with the application and state processing fees.

- Students enjoy the option to conduct their first 100 treatments at TLI’s facility. The student will perform 100 treated areas on 4 different live models (1-hour treatment per model) under the direct supervision of either a Registered Senior or Registered Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician.

- At this level, it is required that you observe an apprentice perform 100 Treatments.

- Pass the exam to get your certificate, then mail it with your application and fees for your license.
